Have you ever played the game “Snake and Ladder”?
It is uneven if you reach 100 (the last cell) without having an experience of “ladder climbing” and “snake falling”. This game teaches a great lesson, “Falling is not failing, rather part of your success process”.
Looking at achievers, we always think that “how lucky they are, what an easy life they have, how fast they reached there etc”. If you think so, you are mistaken.
Graph of success is never a straight line. It contains ups and downs, U-turns and lot of unevenness.
Let us view it in another angle.
If you see a person stopped his car at the dead-end of a road waiting for the road to open, what will you call that person? “Silly, Stupid, foolish,…..”!
If you agree with these titles, then pose for a moment.
Most of us are doing our jobs clearly knowing there is no chance of any further growth, still we carry on with the same job, same routine waiting for a tomorrow where we dream our boss to call us and say ”you are promoted”.
Then what is the difference between the aforesaid car driver and us?
So it is sometimes better to make a U-turn. It is never a symbol of failure or weakness, rather it opens a faster and better way leading to the desired destination.
Hey! take care. Next is a U-turn !
