During the last weekend, as normal schedule of the family outing, we entered a restaurant to have dinner. We were not new to that restaurant and we were very confident about the taste and quality of the food. As usual we placed our order, but unfortunately this time we didn’t find the expected taste and we were pushing each other to finish up the dishes.
On the way I asked my wife “Why didn’t the items taste well this time?”. It didn’t take much time for her to answer me “I think, it was because we were really not hungry today”. There my “trainer” mind started linking the famous question we face from many people, “Why am I not achieving my goal ?”.
Our hunger to succeed in our goal is directly proportional to our achievement rate. If you are not hungry for your goals, then you will never find interest in grabbing it. We have heard many times “Success is not an accidental occurrence ”. Your hunger determines the speed of your victory.
Once you have defined your goals, be hungry for it. This hunger will define the intensity of your commitment. Then you don’t need anybody to push you to finish up your dishes.
Bottom line is “If we are not committed to our own goals, then who else will?”
